With anniversary events already hosted in Paris and London, Hong Kong became one of the stops with a spectacular party held on May 22. The celebrations continue with the launch of a special 20th anniversary limited collection – a homepage to the brand’s iconic designs, reimagined with fresh creativity to inspire and unlock limitless possibilities.

 

               

Michaël Azoulay founded the American Vintage brand in Marseille in 2005, inspired by the United States. He had been struck by the vast open spaces and the relaxed atmosphere they create, and decided to redesign that most timeless basic, the T-shirt. Since its inception, American Vintage has been dedicated to creating sleek, comfortable, and effortlessly wearable pieces designed as wardrobe staples for all seasons. Bold colors, distinctive prints, patchwork details, and soft fabrics have become the brand’s signature, capturing an easygoing spirit while empowering individuals to express their unique styles. More than just clothing, American Vintage embodies an authentic and refined approach to everyday living.

 

       

 

The Hong Kong 20th anniversary event brought together a dynamic mix of media personalities and renowned digital influencers, as the brand crafted a vibrant and immersive experience. Guests were treated to an exclusive screening of American Vintage’s 20th anniversary film, reflecting on the brand’s journey, and celebrating this milestone with a blend of nostalgia and excitement. The festivities also showcased the anniversary capsule collection, offering attendees a first glimpse of the exclusive designs. The event was a spectacular finale, concluding American Vintage’s birthday celebrations.

 

American Vintage’s 20th anniversary collection boldly features the 20th anniversary logo, patches, maximalist designs, and unisex aesthetics. Embracing innovation, the collection explores new creative directions, delivering a striking impact through its cuts, materials, finishes, and prototypes. The idea was to create something unique and memorable. The color palette ranges from soft pastels to deep, rich tones and vibrant brights, celebrating diversity and versatility to suit individual styles. Impeccable craftsmanship is showcased through woven labels, prints, and jacquard details, making each garment a true keepsake of this milestone.
